Tong Zhao

Tong Zhao is a Senior Organic Media Specialist at REPLI INC. Previously, they worked as a software engineer intern at MathWorks from May 2020 to August 2020. Prior to that, they were a vehicle control algorithm intern at TuSimple from May 2019 to August 2019, where they worked on the implementation of a longitudinal control algorithm for an autonomous semi-truck. Tong Zhao has also worked as a graduate research assistant at The Ohio State University Center for Automotive Research and as a research assistant at the Institute for Quantum Computing. Tong received their Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Wuhan University in 2016.

Tong Zhao received their PhD in Mechanical Engineering from The Ohio State University. Tong also holds a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Electrical Engineering from Wuhan University, and Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degrees in Physics (with focus on Quantum Mechanics) from the University of Waterloo and Physics (Condensed Matter Physics) from Nanjing University.

Tong Zhao reports to Taylor Boyd, Organic Media Manager. They are on a team with Skye Ko - Paid Media Intern, Sidra Swift - Organic Media Intern.
