Julien Roy

Julien Roy has a diverse work experience in software development and technology roles. Julien is currently working as a Staff Software Developer at Replicant since 2022. Previously, they worked at XpertSea, where they held multiple positions including Technology Director, Research Team Lead, and Software Developer. At XpertSea, they were responsible for software architecture, engineering projects, and managing teams. Julien also developed cloud infrastructure, model training platforms, and deep learning models. Before that, Julien worked at Nutaq as an FPGA, Embedded, and Software Developer, where they worked on high-speed ADC/DAC cards and embedded software development. Julien started their career as a Teaching Assistant in the Computer and Electrical Engineering Department.

Julien Roy received their Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Université Laval, where they studied from 2007 to 2011. Julien pursued further education in Electrical Engineering and obtained a Master's degree from the same institution, studying from 2011 to 2013.
