Emily Brand has worked in the field of bioscience since 2005. Emily began their career as a Research Associate I at Curis, Inc. in 2005 and then moved to Vertex Pharmaceuticals Inc. in 2006, where they worked as a Pharmacology Research Associate 2. In 2008, they became a Senior Research Associate at Merrimack Pharmaceuticals and then a Scientist at Pfizer in 2009. In 2011, they joined RaNA RX (now Translate Bio) as a Scientist level. Emily then moved to Ionis Pharmaceuticals in 2015, where they worked as a Sr. Research Associate. In 2019, they were a Research Associate at Samumed, LLC, and then a Senior Associate Scientist at Calibr at Scripps Research in 2021. Currently, they are a Senior Research Scientist at Replicate Bioscience, Inc.
Emily Brand completed their education history with a Master of Science degree from Northeastern University in 2008. Prior to that, they obtained a BS degree in Animal Science/Biotechnology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2003. Emily began their education journey at Plainview HS from 1996 to 1999. In addition, they have obtained two certifications from LinkedIn, one in Time Management: Working from Home in December 2020 and one in Communication within Teams in October 2020.
