Smitha Ballal

Smitha Ballal has a diverse work experience, beginning with a role as a Segment Producer at CNBC Business News in 2006. Smitha then moved on to become a Product Manager at PetsGetVets in 2011, followed by a role as a Product Manager at Univision Communications Inc. in 2012. In 2010, they held a role as Finance & Strategic Planning at Focus Features. From 2009-2011, they were an MBA Candidate at NYU Stern School of Business. In 2014, they became a Strategy and Operations Manager, Social TV at ITVS. Most recently, they held roles as an Engineer and QA Engineer at Replicated from 2017-present.

Smitha Ballal completed their MBA from NYU Stern School of Business in 2011. Prior to that, they obtained a BA and BS in Economics and Journalism from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2003. In 2017, they attended Hackbright Academy for a short period of time. Smitha also obtained an MA in Journalism from New York University in 2006.
