Harlan Knapp

Harlan Knapp is an experienced professional in biopharma and biotechnology, currently serving as the Director of Global Upstream Field Applications at Repligen Corporation since July 2024. In this role, Harlan manages a global Field Application Scientist team, focusing on process intensification innovations using ATF, TFF, and TFDF technologies. Prior to this, Harlan was the Head of Digital Manufacturing Solutions at IDBS, addressing complex challenges for biopharma companies with cloud-based solutions. Harlan has held various positions at Cytiva, GE Healthcare Life Sciences, and Eppendorf North America, with a strong emphasis on business development, consultative sales, and technical support in upstream processes. Harlan holds an MS in Biology (Biotechnology) and dual BS degrees in Biology and Chemistry from Eastern Washington University.
