Luis Héctor Chávez has an extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Luis Héctor began their career in 2008 as an SDE Intern at Microsoft, and returned as an SDE Intern in 2009 and 2010. In 2011, they were promoted to Software Development Engineer II, then Software Development Engineer. In 2013, they joined Google as a Staff Software Engineer and was later promoted to Senior Software Engineer, working on Android Apps in Chromebooks and giving a talk about this in Google I/O 2016. In 2020, they joined Repl.it as a Software Engineer.
Luis Héctor Chávez has a Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science from Stanford University, which they are currently enrolled in. Prior to this, they earned a B.S. in Computer Science from Tecnológico de Monterrey between 2006 and 2011.
