Samuel Spitz is a dynamic entrepreneur and leader with a wealth of experience in the startup ecosystem and product development. As the CEO and Co-founder of Gently from 2021 to 2024, Spitz played a significant role in creating a platform for secondhand goods, assisting thousands daily in locating top listings. Spitz’s entrepreneurial journey began with founding Rice Ventures, a startup accelerator for students, and extended to multiple ventures including a stealth startup that achieved over $1 million in ARR in less than six months. Moreover, Spitz made impactful contributions as a board member for The Salvation Army San Francisco, focusing on community service. Additional roles have included positions at Replit, where Spitz is currently leading enterprise product initiatives, as well as prior experience in analytics and consultancy at various firms. Spitz holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Managerial Studies from Rice University, with a perfect 4.0 GPA.
