John Gateley

John Gateley is a highly experienced Senior Garment Technologist and Pattern Cutter currently working at Represent since 2025. Previously, John held the position of Senior Product Technologist at Burberry from 2017 to 2024, and served as a Senior Pattern Cutter at TOPSHOP TOPMAN from 2006 to 2017, where they played a key role in developing new designs and collaborating with external designers on special projects. John also worked as a Garment Technologist at French Connection from 2005 to 2006, overseeing the children's wear department. They earned a BA Hon's in Fashion from the Surrey Institute of Art & Design between 1997 and 2002.
