Head of Footwear Development at Represent

Robyn Braithwaite has a diverse work experience in the footwear industry. Robyn is currently the Head of Footwear Development at Represent since September 2022. Prior to that, they worked at PUMA Group from July 2020 to July 2022, where they held the position of Manager Development Footwear - RCC Prime Team Lead. In this role, they managed a team of four Senior Developers and was responsible for the development and buy readiness of non-inline, regional specific, and speed to market sportstyle footwear.

Before joining PUMA Group, Robyn worked at Pentland Brands from January 2016 to June 2020. Robyn held multiple roles during their tenure, including Assistant Development Manager - Footwear, Footwear Developer - Footwear Division, and Junior Footwear Developer - Lacoste.

Robyn'searlier work experiences include a role as a Sales and Marketing Assistant at WaterRower Inc. from October 2015 to December 2015, and a Footwear Development Internship at PUMA SE from July 2013 to July 2014.

Robyn's career started at Pennine Playgrounds Limited, where they worked as a Part-Time Sales and Design Assistant from July 2010 to May 2012.

Throughout their career, Robyn has gained extensive experience in footwear development, team management, and buy readiness.

Robyn Braithwaite has a Bachelor's Degree in Sports Technology from Loughborough University. Prior to that, they attended Bradford Grammar School where they completed their A Levels, specializing in Mathematics (A), Physical Education (B), Economics (B), and AS Chemistry. Robyn also attended The Girls Grammar School in Bradford and achieved GCSEs with impressive grades, including 4A*, 5A, and 2B, with specific achievements in subjects such as Math (A*), Physics (A*), and German (A). In terms of additional certifications, Robyn obtained a PRINCE2® Practitioner in Project Management from PRINCE2.com in July 2022. Robyn also possesses certifications from various online platforms like LinkedIn, covering topics such as leadership, motivation, time management, and supporting LGBTQ+ employees. Furthermore, they acquired the Chairman's Award for "Success is a Team Game" from Pentland Brands in December 2018. Robyn also completed a certificate in Fashion Buying & Merchandising: Footwear from the London College of Fashion, University of the Arts London in September 2018.
