Will Smith

Will Smith has extensive experience in design and leadership roles. Will is currently the VP of Design at Reprise, where they head the Design team and oversees various aspects such as Product Design, UI/UX, and Brand. Prior to this, they worked as a Mentor at Harvard Innovation Labs.

Before joining Reprise, Smith held the position of VP of Design at Catalant Technologies, where they rebuilt the Design function and led the Product and Communications Design teams. Will played a key role in designing and revamping the Marketing website and unifying the design vision for the Marketplace and SaaS products. Additionally, they contributed to bringing the SaaS product to a level suitable for Fortune 500 companies.

Earlier in their career, Smith served as the VP of Design at InsightSquared, where they played a pivotal role in shaping the entire Design function. Will also held the positions of Director of Product Design and Creative Director within the company.

Smith's professional journey includes working as a Design Architect and Pixel Czar at SCVNGR/LevelUp, where they grew into the role of Principal Designer. Will gained valuable experience in freelancing and contracting, specializing in small micro-sites and HTML/CSS/Flash work.

Furthermore, Smith gained insight into the tech startup world through their role in Operations at DreamIt Ventures. Will also worked as a Landscape Designer at The Brickman Group early in their career.

Will Smith attended Virginia Tech from 2000 to 2004, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Policy & Planning. In 2006, they continued their education at Philadelphia University and obtained a Master of Science degree in Digital Design, completing their studies in 2007.
