Stephen Bate

Stephen Bate is a seasoned professional in the oil and gas industry with extensive experience in production operations and process engineering. Currently serving as a Production Team Leader and Offshore Process Engineer at Repsol Sinopec Resources UK Limited since May 2013, Stephen has honed skills in process optimization and offshore production operations on the Claymore platform. Prior to this, Stephen worked as a Senior Process Engineer at Xodus Group, focusing on fundamental process engineering principles, and held roles at ExxonMobil, including Subsea Engineer, where responsibilities included integrity management of subsea assets, and Technical Safety Engineer, fostering a broad understanding of production operations and risk management. Stephen holds a degree in Chemical and Process Engineering from the University of Strathclyde, completed in 2006.
