Val Castillo

Val Castillo is a seasoned completions foreman currently employed at Repsol since November 2022, with a robust background in the oil and gas industry. Prior experience includes roles as service supervisor and lead coil operator at STEP Energy Services from January 2018 to November 2022, and as service supervisor at Keane Group from March 2017 to January 2018. Castillo has extensive experience in completion work on wells in the Eagleford Shale, collaborating with notable companies including EP, Chesapeake, and Pioneer. Beginning a career as an equipment operator and rising through various supervisory positions, Castillo also worked at Weatherford as Field Supervisor III from November 2010 to February 2017 and gained foundational skills in cementing with Halliburton Energy Services from 2008 to 2010. Educational credentials include a high school diploma from Alice Texas High School, attained in 2006.
