Patrick Onyango Mangen

Patrick joined REPSSI on 1 April 2020. Prior to this, Patrick was the Country Director of TPO Uganda for 16 years, growing and transforming TPO Uganda into a notable NGO in the region and globally. He also led the establishment of TPO programmes in South Sudan, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Somalia and Burundi..

Patrick is renowned in the field of mental health and psychosocial support, care and protection of vulnerable children as well as strengthening community child protection systems. He has served on several local and global boards.

Patrick holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Makerere University, Uganda; a Master of Science Degree in International Development from Bristol University, UK; a postgraduate diploma in Monitoring and Evaluation Methods from Stellenbosch University, South Africa; and a post graduate certificate in Humanitarian Action and Conflict from Oxford Brookes University, UK.
