Catherine Bernhardt

Catherine Bernhardt serves as the General Manager at Republic Services since July 2022, previously holding the position of General Manager Accelerated Trainee. Catherine's prior experience includes serving as Director of Entrepreneurship for The Chapel Hill Alt. Protein Project and an MBA Intern at Republic Services. As a VCIC Fellow, Catherine contributed to the Venture Capital Investment Competition. Noteworthy achievements include launching Bakova Gallery as a luxury art brand and establishing a profitable sales and marketing strategy within a month, along with significant cost reductions through software implementation. Educational achievements include an MBA in Operations Management and Sustainable Enterprises from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School and an MBA in Technology and Innovation from Grenoble Ecole de Management. Additionally, Catherine holds a Bachelor's degree in Entrepreneurship and a minor in Environmental Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
