Jeff Sprong

Jeff Sprong currently serves as a Full Stack Engineer II at Republic Services since August 2022, following a tenure as a Java Software Developer at Tech One IT from April 2021 to August 2022. Prior to transitioning into software development, Jeff had a lengthy career in law enforcement, including positions as a Retired Law Enforcement Sergeant and Deputy Sheriff with the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office from August 2007 to April 2021, and as a Police Officer for the City of Peoria, Arizona from August 2003 to August 2007. Earlier in law enforcement, Jeff was a Deputy Sheriff with the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office from June 2000 to August 2003. Jeff earned an Associate's degree in Law Enforcement from Rio Sal and completed a Back End Software Developer program focusing on Java at Promineo Tech in 2020.
