John Carrington has extensive experience in the waste management industry, currently serving as Operations Manager at Republic Services Inc. since August 2007, overseeing operations at the McCarty Road Landfill. Previously, John held the position of Division Manager at Waste Services Inc. from February 2004 to June 2007, where responsibilities included the start-up of a greenfield landfill, transfer station, and a hauling company. Prior to that, John was the Owner of Carrington Consultants from May 1996 to February 2004, specializing in permitting, compliance, construction management, and business development. John began the professional journey with operations at BFI from 1982 to 1989. Educationally, John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, along with studies at South West Texas State.
