Michael Howell has extensive experience in the waste management industry, holding multiple leadership positions throughout a career spanning several decades. Currently serving as Operations Manager at Republic Services since April 2022, Michael previously contributed to GFL Environmental Inc. as Site Manager from November 2020 to April 2022. Prior to that, Michael spent twenty years at WCA Waste, where roles included District Manager and General Manager, overseeing landfill operations and fleet management. Earlier experiences at Waste Management, Inc. and Browning Ferris Industries provided foundational knowledge and hands-on expertise in the field. Michael also pursued studies in Engineering at South Ark Community College from 2007 to 2008.
