Sameen Jalal

Sameen Jalal is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in building and leading large engineering teams and technology organizations across multiple global markets. Currently serving as Chief Technology Officer at Happening and Superbet, Sameen has overseen the development of significant technology platforms generating over €1 billion in revenue. Previous roles include Director of Engineering at Wayve, where Sameen managed a diverse range of teams in applied machine learning and autonomous driving technology, and Engineering Lead at Facebook, focusing on security and system integrity. With an academic background that includes an Executive MBA from London Business School and a Master's degree in Medical Physics and Biomedical Engineering from UCL, Sameen has also invested in and advised numerous startups primarily in AI, machine learning, and deep tech sectors through various investment roles.
