Courtney R. has a diverse work experience. Courtney started with the US Navy in 2011, where they served as a Recruiter, Division Supervisor, Program Manager, and Data Technician. In their role as Division Supervisor, they managed four teams of 25+ personnel responsible for maintaining shipboard radar, weapons, and data systems. As Program Manager, they coordinated planned maintenance, emergency response, material requirements and labor plans for system overhauls, phased maintenance periods, and the Board of Inspection and Survey (INSURV) assessment with five departments of 500+ personnel. As Data Technician, they performed maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on digital computer, display, and communications equipment, as well as managed procurement, inventory, audits, and storage for division’s $3.6M mission-critical parts program. In 2021, Courtney R. began working for San Francisco State University, where they established a new community and social media presence for a campus-wide initiative to increase awareness and action. Courtney also produced a live 90-minute webinar and 150-second promotion for the university’s new climate change certificate program with a team of 40+ students, 4 faculty members, and 4 guest speakers. Finally, they developed a website and brand under the direction of the Biology department chair. In 2023, Courtney R. began working as a Web Analytics Specialist for REQ.
Courtney R. attended UC San Diego Extended Studies in 2017, where they studied Full Stack Web Development. Courtney then obtained a CTEC Tax Preparer certification from the California Tax Education Council in November of 2017. Courtney is currently attending San Francisco State University, where they are pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
