Alvaro Aleman

Alvaro Aleman is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes platforms. Currently serving as a Software Engineer in Cloud Infrastructure at Rerun since September 2025, Alvaro previously worked at Confluent as a Staff Software Engineer, focusing on the internal Kubernetes Platform from October 2022 to September 2025, and held a Senior Software Engineer role there, contributing to the same platform. Prior to Confluent, Alvaro was engaged at Red Hat from February 2020 to September 2022, where responsibilities included developing a backend for efficient management of OpenShift clusters and ensuring the availability and scalability of the OpenShift Testplatform. Alvaro also contributed to the Kubermatic Kubernetes Platform at Loodse as a Software Engineer, and has experience as a DevOps Engineer at Deposit Solutions GmbH, a Cloud Platform Engineer at inovex GmbH, and a Linux System Administrator at Silpion IT-Solutions GmbH.
