Alisa Matsui

Alisa Matsui is a Global Support Engineer at Rescale since July 2024, bringing a strong background in intellectual property and research. Previously, Alisa served as a Computer/EE Patent Technology Specialist at SHUSAKU·YAMAMOTO from July 2022 to June 2024, where responsibilities included reviewing legal documentation and providing strategic legal advice pertaining to Japanese intellectual property law. Alisa's research experience includes a position at the University of Virginia's Guilford Lab from August 2018 to May 2022, where contributions involved analyzing scientific literature, publishing a review article, and developing computational models to enhance engineering designs. Alisa holds a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the University of Virginia and an Advanced Studies Diploma from Ocean Lakes High School Mathematics and Science Academy.
