Ben Mitchell has a diverse work experience spanning across several industries and roles. Ben started their career at HSBC as a Business Analyst in 2007 before moving on to sales roles at Resolve Software Solutions Inc. and TenDigits Software, where they served as a Sales Leader and Director of Business Development, respectively. In 2012, they worked as a Sales & Channel Manager at CWR Mobility, followed by a role as a Public Sector Account Executive at ACL. From 2015 to 2020, Ben worked at Slack, where they first served as a Customer Experience professional and later as an Account Executive. In 2020, they joined Arbutus Analytics as a Presales Solutions Consultant and then moved to CarbonCure Technologies as a Regional Sales Director in 2021. Currently, Ben Mitchell is working at Resco.net in the Partnerships & Success division. Additionally, Ben has also been involved in the establishment of Mainia, a project dedicated to promoting local businesses and events on Vancouver's Main Street.

Ben Mitchell attended North Halifax Grammar School from 1986 to 1993, where they completed their high school education. Ben then went on to the University of Hull from 1993 to 1996, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in History.
