Rescue Team Delta was established in 2018, based in Piraeus and is a member of General Secretariat for Civil Protection of Greece with Registration Number 0055-00-24.

We are a Non-Governmental and Not-for-Profit voluntary organization that supports coordinates, develops and implements search, rescue and emergency response with the underlying principle of saving lives. 

We can respond to emergency and life-threatening situations  offering first aid, urban search and rescue, mountain search and rescue, set up and support camps for affected people by human or natural disaster.

Our team comprises over 30 members highly trained with many years of experience as volunteer rescuers. Most of our volunteers are first aid certified.
The skills on our team range from basic hiking experience and canyoning to free climbing , aid climbing experience, and rope rescue.

We can take action in any area of Greece & neighboring  States. 

Our team organizes  first aid & disaster management seminars for citizens, with the title ¨Do you know how to protect yourself?" and also provides first aid in sports events.

Furthermore, we participate in exercises of the General Secretariat for Civil Protection, Hellenic Navy, Attica Region, Municipality of Piraeus, IDAFK(Institute for management of human and natural disasters).

Rescue team DELTA is on the alert (24/7) and immediate preparedness in case of emergency for the municipality of Piraeus & Attica Region.
