Ari Polychronopoulos

Ari Polychronopoulos, a partner on the Product Management team and Head of ESG, oversees the Product Management group, which is responsible for product oversight, analytics, and business development. Ari is also responsible for the firm’s ESG efforts, including product development, creation of ESG research and content, and collaborating with Research Affiliates’ product partners and other organizations in the development of ESG investing initiatives.

Ari is also responsible for writing and developing educational content to support the firm’s investment strategies and for meeting with asset owners, consultants, and asset managers to inform them about the firm's strategies, ESG integration capabilities, and research.

Previously, Ari worked as a senior analyst for IndyMac Bank, where he was responsible for portfolio hedging and risk management. He also has served as a corporate retirement plan consultant for Precept, an employee benefits firm.

Ari has a BS in mathematical economics from Pitzer College and an MS in financial engineering from Claremont Graduate University. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of CFA Institute and CFA Society Orange County.
