John Meade

John Meade is currently the Director of Machine Learning at Resemble. John was previously a Machine Learning Engineer at Replicant, where they built conversational engines, including extracting meaning from natural speech (NLP, NLU, intent detection), and generating natural sounding speech from text in arbitrary voices (TTS, voice cloning). Prior to that, John was a Research Assistant at the University of Waterloo, where they created a 3D Virtual Reality application for a Psychology study about spatial memory performance. John was also responsible for data analysis and data visualizations. John has also served as the CTO of Sitata and as an App Developer and Ruby on Rails Developer for Printchomp. Additionally, they were a REAPster for REAP: Research Entrepreneurs Accelerating Prosperity.

John Meade completed a Bachelor's degree in Mathematical Physics at the University of Waterloo.
