Jonathan Gerdes

Jonathan Gerdes is a seasoned professional in the claims management field, currently serving as the Director of General Liability Claims at Reserv since June 2025. In addition to this role, Jonathan is a Board Member at claimsXchange, an organization that promotes innovation and education in claims management. Previously, Jonathan held the position of Chief Claim Officer at Frank Winston Crum Insurance from April 2022 to January 2025, overseeing claims results for a commercial lines insurer targeting small contractors. Prior to that, Jonathan served as Executive Vice President and Profit Center Manager at Smart Casualty Claims, managing strategic direction and operations for a regional third-party administrator generating over $15 million in annual revenue. Jonathan's experience also includes a Vice President role overseeing TPA claim activities at Enstar Group. Jonathan holds an MBA in Finance from Stetson University, where studies were completed between January 1981 and January 1985.
