Lee Diaz has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Lee is currently serving as the Director of eCommerce at ReserveBar since September 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Content & Social Media at the same company from May 2022 to September 2022. From January 2021 to May 2022, they held the position of Senior Manager of Social Content & Events, where they focused on content creation, distribution, monetization, and event planning.
Before joining ReserveBar, Lee worked as the Lead Content Curator at History of Los Angeles, where they shared historical photos and stories from the Los Angeles area through Instagram. Lee gained a significant following and achieved high engagement during their time there.
Lee also has experience in managing social media for renowned companies. Lee served as the Social Media Manager at Fender Musical Instruments Corporation from October 2018 to May 2020 and at Hilton from January 2016 to July 2018. At Hilton, they contributed to the redevelopment of branding and partnerships, launched a travel blog, and collaborated with internal developers to enhance the Hilton Honors app.
In addition, Lee held roles at SocialChorus and AT&T, where they focused on strategy and solutions development, employee social collaboration, and advocacy. Lee was involved in driving the adoption of social business platforms and implementing enterprise-wide social media policies and best practices.
Lee's earlier work experience includes a program developer role at 100 Homes, Inc. and graduate internships at the University of Southern California.
Lee Diaz earned a BA in Political Science from Pepperdine University in 2003. They later obtained a Master of Public Policy from the University of Southern California between 2003 and 2005. In terms of additional certifications, Lee Diaz acquired the WSET Level 1 Award in Wine and the WSET Level 1 Award in Spirits from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust in 2023. They also served as a judge in the San Francisco World Spirits Competition in 2022 and the New York World Wine & Spirits Competition from 2021 to 2023.
