Founded in 2016, Resident is a Toronto-based real estate investment and development company. The team brings a unique lens to the landscape, with extensive placemaking experience across residential and mixed-use developments. Thanks to long-standing relationships with industry designers, architects, and partners, Resident brings together teams of leading experts to transform underdeveloped land, residential, and commercial spaces into thriving new communities.

Resident’s mission is to enhance the places where we reside. We build creatively and responsibly to create developments that improve neighbourhoods and cultivate communities. Our resident-focused approach means that we listen and learn to ensure connection is at the core of our projects. Our homes and buildings reflect their context and enable well-lived lives now and in the future.
