Steve Romney

Steve Romney is currently an advisor at Residently, a position they have held since 2019. Prior to that, they were the Senior Director of Software Engineering at eBay from 2013 to 2019. Steve was responsible for product and engineering within the Local Delivery team. Romney was also a member of the founding team at Shutl, Ltd., where they served as the Chief Technology Officer from 2009 to 2013. The venture-backed startup was acquired by eBay in November 2013. Romney also spent time as a Senior Software Developer at The Home Depot from 2006 to 2007 and as a Platform Architect at Provenir Inc. from 2007 to 2009.

Steve Romney graduated with an MBA from the Texas McCombs School of Business, a MSE in Software Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, and an AB in Economics and Computer Science (minor) from Dartmouth College. Steve also attended Saddle River Day for high school.
