Greg Young is a seasoned mechanical engineer with extensive experience in gas valve design and product development. Currently serving as Lead Mechanical Engineer at Resideo since October 2018, Greg is responsible for leading gas valve design for the North American product lines. Prior to this role, Greg worked at Honeywell from May 2004 to October 2018, where responsibilities included mechanical design of gas valves and supervision of technical work for draftsmen and junior engineers. Early in the career, Greg gained foundational experience as an Engineering Intern, contributing to electronic thermostat platforms and designing injection molded plastic parts. Greg also worked as a Data Specialist at Old Republic Title Company from May 2001 to May 2004, managing various database systems. Greg holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota, completed in 2005.
