Petr Chmelar

Petr Chmelar is a founder, engineer, and researcher in cybersecurity and AI. They are the founder of Resistine (2022–present), a company focused on making cybersecurity affordable and easy to use through AI and open source. They founded GreyCortex and masterminded its NDR technology, and held leadership roles as CTO and co-owner (2016–2017) and Chief Research Officer (CRO) at GREYCORTEX (2017–2022). With over 15 years in cybersecurity and more than 23 years as an entrepreneur, they guided 100+ diploma theses, achieved top results in NIST, NVIDIA, and AWS AI challenges, and participated as a yellow team member in NATO CCD CoE cyber defense exercises. Their education included an Engineer, IT degree from Brno University of Technology (2000–2005), postgraduate AI studies at Brno University of Technology (2005–2012), and entrepreneurship studies at Founder Institute (2005–2012).
