Boris Kovtun

Boris Kovtun is an experienced software engineer with a strong background in Java development and system reliability. From February 2014 to August 2018, Boris worked at ResMed as a Lead Java Engineer, leading the development of Machine Cloud Services that supported over 10 million medical devices with a service reliability of 99.99%. Boris also held positions as Senior Java Engineer and Application Support Engineer at ResMed, focusing on software updates and system monitoring. Prior experience includes leading frontend engineering at the Department of Transport and Main Roads, where new technologies significantly reduced development time, and working as a Senior Software Engineer at T-Systems International, where collaboration on major automotive projects improved team efficiency. Boris began a career in software development at Reksoft, creating systems for major telecommunications clients. Boris holds a Master of Science in Information Technology and a Specialist Diploma in Mathematics from Saint Petersburg State University.
