Patrick Sammon

Patrick Sammon is an accomplished tax and audit executive with extensive experience in global tax strategy and advisory services. Currently serving as Vice President of Global Tax at ResMed since June 2016, Patrick leads an innovative tax team during the company's transition to a cloud-connected medical device and out-of-hospital SaaS model. Prior roles at Autodesk include VP of Audit & Advisory Services, where Patrick transformed the Internal Audit and SOx functions by integrating traditional audit techniques with data science, and Sr. Director positions focused on both Tax and Audit. Previous experience includes managing international tax planning at Autodesk and serving as European Tax Manager at SGI. Patrick holds a JD from Santa Clara University School of Law and a BS in Accounting from San Francisco State University.
