Simon Bree is an experienced finance professional with a robust background in financial management and accounting. Currently serving as Finance Manager at Resolis since September 2022, Simon previously held the Finance Manager position at the Church of Scotland from February 2011 to January 2023, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and financial accounting for the Church's General Trustees. Earlier roles included Assistant Business Analyst, where Simon managed defined benefit pension accounts with assets exceeding £500 million, and Accounting Trainee, preparing management accounts and assisting in annual account preparation. Simon's career began in a finance assistant role focused on purchase ledger processing and balance sheet reconciliations. Simon holds a Master of Arts in Accounting and Finance from Heriot-Watt University and is a member of ACCA.
