ResolutionRx Ltd (ResolutionRx) (Australian Company Number a/k/a ACN 664 925 651) was formed in Australia on 11th January 2023, initially as a wholly-owned subsidiary of RespireRx Pharmaceuticals Inc. (U.S. OTC: RSPI) (RespireRx). RespireRx is in the process of providing  exclusive rights via sublicense and license with ResolutionRx, to its cannabinoid drug development program, including patents granted and pending and proprietary confidential information. ResolutionRx was formed for the purpose of conducting research and development (R&D) followed by commercialization of pharmaceutical cannabinoids, chemical substances originally derived fromthe cannabis plant that act upon the body’s endocannabinoid neurotransmitter system. Scientific study has focused on the two major cannabinoids, ∆-9-THC and (CBD), and has led to several commercial products approved by the regulatory
authorities of several countries. In particular, ResolutionRx is initially focusing on dronabinol, a synthetic form of ∆-9-THC that
acts as an endocannabinoid CB1 and CB2 receptor agonist. Dronabinol already has been approved in the United States for the treatment of AIDS related anorexia and chemotherapy induced nausea and vomiting, thus allowing for a rapid and low-cost pathway to regulatory approval in the U.S. ResolutionRx intends to re-purpose dronabinol initially for the treatment of obstructive sleep apnoea (OSA) and also for the treatment of anorexia. RespireRx, its U.S. parent company, has conducted preliminary studies to investigate its potential use in the treatment of OSA and to assess the possibility of developing a new formulation superior to that
already marketed as an improvement over the commercial version of dronabinol, which suffers from limiting formulation issues. Our ultimate goal is to commercialize our own proprietary dronabinol formuation for the treatement of OSA and anorexia in Australia and worldwide.
