William Irwin-Harris

Lead Graphics Engineer at Resolve

William Irwin-Harris has worked in the software engineering and graphics engineering industries since 2016. In 2021, they began working as a Lead Graphics Engineer and Software Engineer at Resolve. From 2019 to 2021, they worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at Arcanum AI, where they developed the natural language engine behind NZ Police's digital human pilot. From 2016 to 2019, they worked as a 3D Graphics and Tool Chain Engineer at 8i, where they developed a new data compression system for volumetric videos (3D point clouds) and implemented Apple's Metal graphics API into 8i's proprietary real-time rendering engine.

William Irwin-Harris attended Victoria University of Wellington from 2015 to 2019, where they completed a BSc in Computer Science and Physics in 2018, followed by a BSc(Hons) in Computer Science in 2019.
