Mala Niane

Mala Niane, CPA has a diverse work experience in finance and accounting. Mala is currently serving as the Director of Finance at Resolver, a Kroll Business since August 2023. Before that, they worked as the Controller at the same company from November 2022 to August 2023, and as the Team Lead - Financial Accounting from April 2022 to November 2022. Prior to joining Resolver, Mala worked as a Corporate Accountant (Senior) from April 2021 to April 2022, and as an Accountant from September 2019 to March 2021.

Before their time at Resolver, they worked as an Accountant at Triovest from November 2017 to September 2019, and as a Property Accountant at RioCan Real Estate Investment Trust from June 2017 to November 2017. Mala also worked briefly as a Bookkeeper/Accounting Technician at Harrop Scott and Associates Ltd. from March 2017 to June 2017.

Their previous experiences include working as an Audit Staff Accountant at Deloitte in October and November 2016, and as a Junior Internal Auditor at Ecobank Transnational Incorporated in August and September 2016.

Mala Niane, CPA, completed a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting at York University from 2010 to 2014. Mala is currently pursuing their CPA designation through Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada) and is expected to complete it by 2022.
