Thomas Tan has worked in the marketing field since 2009. Thomas started as a Personal Trainer at Fitness First Malaysia in 2009 and then moved to KPPK Selangor as a Clerk in 2013. In 2014, they became a Management Trainee at Safeguards Records Management. From 2015 to 2018, they were a Marketing Analyst at imSold. During this time, they were responsible for building the app user base, KPI reporting, market analysis, and managing customer service entities in Malaysia and Vietnam. In 2018, they became a Marketing Executive at PEOPLElogy Group and Makita Power Tools (M) Sdn Bhd. At Makita, their responsibilities included managing the company's Facebook and Youtube, creating content, providing customer service, and building community. In 2020, they became a Marketing Executive at Resource Data Management.
Thomas Tan completed their Bachelor of Psychology (Hons.) at HELP University from 2011 to 2014. Thomas previously obtained a Foundation in Arts at Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) from 2009 to 2010. In March 2016, Thomas obtained a Customer Analytics certification from Coursera Course Certificates.
