Emery Coco is an experienced professional in climate activism and organizing, currently serving as Interim Campaigns Director at Resource Generation since September 2022. Prior to this role, Emery held the position of Senior Manager of Organizing Support on the Climate Team at Future Coalition, where responsibilities included managing a team to support youth-led climate actions. Emery's previous experience includes serving as Youth Engagement Manager at The Climate Reality Project, focusing on global engagement strategies for youth volunteers, and as Climate Science Communications Coordinator at the U.S. Department of the Interior. In addition to a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources Management and Policy from North Carolina State University, Emery is pursuing further education in the Marshall Ganz Theory of Organizing through the Leading Change Network.
