John Spencer

John Spencer has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. John currently holds the position of Senior Director, US Operations at ReSource Pro, where they lead a team responsible for ensuring quality and consistency across the company's operations centers and oversees the integration of new business acquisitions. Prior to joining ReSource Pro, John was the Principal at JD Spencer Consulting.

Before transitioning into the private sector, John had an extensive career in the US Navy. John served as the Commander of Submarine Group 10, responsible for guiding the operations, maintenance, and certifications of eight submarines. John also held the role of Director of Nuclear Enterprise at the Defense Threat Reduction Agency and served as the Executive Officer at the United States Strategic Command.

Earlier in their naval career, John served as the Commander of Submarine Squadron 16, where they led an organization of three submarines and approximately 900 personnel. Under their leadership, one submarine underwent a complex nuclear reactor replacement, while two others were certified for overseas operations. Prior to this, they worked in the Policy Section at the Office of the Secretary of Defense, overseeing defense policy for the Indian Ocean and Pacific regions.

John's naval experience also includes serving as the Deputy Commander of Submarine Squadron Eight and as the Commanding Officer of USS PHILADELPHIA (SSN 690). Throughout their career, John has demonstrated strong leadership skills and expertise in strategic planning, operations management, and nuclear enterprise.

John Spencer attended the United States Naval Academy, where they obtained a BS degree in Systems Engineering. John later pursued a National Security Fellowship at the Harvard Kennedy School. Additionally, they earned a MA degree in National Security and Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College.
