Mark Nah

Mark Nah has extensive experience in engineering and management roles. Mark began their career as a Project Engineer at the Defence Science and Technology Organisation in 1992. From 1995 to 1999, they served as an Operations Manager at Swift Silicone Pte Ltd. In 1999, they joined Kulicke and Soffa as a Senior Engineering Manager, where they led teams in designing semiconductor assembly equipment. Mark then moved on to Fluidigm Corporation in 2006 as a Senior Engineering Manager, overseeing the development of microfluidic chip reagent loading equipment. In 2009, Nah joined Response Biomedical Corp. as a Senior Engineer before being promoted to Manager, R&D and Engineering, Director, R&D and Engineering, and eventually Director, Engineering & Facilities. Their accomplishments at Response Biomedical Corp. include increasing production capacity, leading teams in creating new diagnostic tests, and securing developmental contracts.

Mark Nah has a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Biomedical Engineering from The University of British Columbia, which they completed from 2008 to 2009. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Management of Technology from the National University of Singapore from 1992 to 1995. Mark also holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with first-class honors from Nanyang Technological University Singapore, which they obtained from 1988 to 1992. In addition to their formal education, Mark Nah has obtained a certification as a Dare to Lead Trained professional from Dare to Lead™ Trained institution, although the specific date of certification is not provided.
