Ryan Melby has extensive experience in digital marketing and analytics. Ryan began their career in 2001 as a Financial Analyst at VEI - Community Health Network, where they monitored the financial performance of the network's properties. Ryan then moved on to Principal Financial Group, where they worked as a Wellness Report Analyst, creating client studies and troubleshooting data storage issues.
In 2009, Ryan joined DEFENDERS as a Sales Analyst, responsible for the creation of multiple reports tracking sales performance. Ryan was later promoted to Senior Digital Marketing Manager, managing paid internet search campaigns and significantly increasing customer acquisitions.
Ryan then worked as a Marketing Consultant at 89 Degrees, serving as a client-facing representative and facilitating interactions between the agency and hhgregg. Ryan then joined DEFENDERS again as a Digital Marketing Analyst, creating and updating regular reports for the company's digital marketing properties.
At Delta Faucet Company, Ryan worked as a Business Analyst, acting as a liaison between Information Services and Marketing for web development tasks. Ryan then joined Valve+Meter Performance Marketing as a Director of Direct Marketing & Analytics, responsible for campaign management, media buying, and financial reporting.
Currently, Ryan is working at Response Mine Interactive as a Media Director, overseeing revenue generation, media spend, and performance analysis for healthcare insurance and home services clients. Ryan also manages a team of media buyers and paid search campaign managers.
Ryan Melby obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Public Financial Management from Indiana University Bloomington in the years 1997-2001. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Noblesville High School from 1993 to 1997, focusing on General Studies. In addition to their formal education, Ryan has obtained various certifications from institutions such as StackAdapt, HubSpot, Google, Bing Ads, Kenshoo, and the Direct Marketing Association in the areas of platform certification, inbound marketing, Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Bing Ads, search advertising, and marketing professionalism.
