Mikko Tikkanen

Mikko Tikkanen has a long and varied career in the tech industry. In 2009, they worked as a User Interface & Concept Designer for Alma Media Corporation and as an Agent for Score Game Development Club. In 2010, they held multiple roles, including CEO of High Score, Co-founder & CTO of Zonear Oy, User Interface Designer of Protomo, and Contributor of HTML5 Boilerplate. From 2012 to 2014, they were Co-founder & Shareholder and Co-Founder & CTO of ResponsiveAds, Inc. During this same period, they were also Head of Development, Nordic Technology Lead, and Technology Lead/Senior Developer/Architect for Aller Media Oy, Finland. From 2018 to 2022, they were Co-founder and CTO of MelloVR and CTO of Crasman.

Mikko Tikkanen completed a Bachelor of Arts & Media in Interaction Design from Tampere University of Applied Sciences between 2005 and 2010. Mikko also completed a Bachelor of Arts & Media in Interaction Design from FH Joanneum between 2008 and 2009. Prior to that, they completed an IT special vocational degree in Development of network applications from Ylä-Savo Adult Education Center between 1999 and 2000.
