Amy Murrell

Amy Murrell serves as the Chief People Officer at Rest since May 2021, leading the People & Change Team to implement the organization's strategy with an emphasis on talent and culture development. Prior to this role, Amy held the position of General Manager People & Culture at Resolution Life, overseeing operations in Australia and New Zealand while implementing an agile operating model. Amy's extensive experience at AMP spanned over a decade and included various leadership roles such as Head of People Services & Governance and Head of People & Culture Projects, where strategic initiatives were developed to enhance employee relations and governance. Earlier in her career, Amy practiced employment law at Herbert Smith Freehills as a Senior Associate. Amy holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Economics (Social Sciences) from the University of Sydney.
