Restore Subsea develops innovative engineering solutions that enable the safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible removal of subsea oil and gas infrastructure.

As offshore assets reach the end of their life cycle, the global industry faces a rapidly growing decommissioning challenge. Restore Subsea works with offshore contractors, operators, and government stakeholders to deliver practical technologies that improve the way subsea pipelines and infrastructure are removed.

Our flagship concept, X-Lay®, is a reverse S-Lay pipeline retrieval system designed to significantly increase productivity in subsea pipeline removal. By enabling the use of lower-cost vessels with longer deck capacities, X-Lay® has the potential to reduce pipeline removal costs by more than 50% compared with conventional methods while maintaining safe and controlled operations.

What makes Restore Subsea different is our focus on integrating new engineering concepts into existing offshore supply chains - making adoption easier while delivering measurable improvements in efficiency, safety, and environmental performance.

With granted and pending patents and progression toward DNV qualification, Restore Subsea is advancing next-generation subsea decommissioning technology for global pipeline removal projects.

Our mission is to deliver practical, scalable solutions that support the responsible removal of subsea infrastructure and contribute to a more sustainable offshore industry.
