John Helm

John Helm has had a diverse range of experiences in the real estate and technology industries. John currently serves as the Managing Director at RET Ventures, a venture capital firm focused on investing in real estate technology companies. John is also a Board Member at Picket Homes, a leading SFR platform, and at Get Covered, a tenant insurance company.

In addition, John Helm has held various Board Member positions at GiGstreem, a high-speed internet provider, Funnel Leasing, a multifamily marketing and leasing platform, Opiniion Inc., an online reputation management tool for property management companies, Lexicon Travel Technologies, and SightPlan, a company that offers software for property management.

Previously, John Helm was an Investor and Board Member at SmartRent, a technology company for property management, and a Board Member at Next Gear Solutions, a software provider for the restoration industry.

John Helm attended Harvard Business School from 1988 to 1990, where they obtained their MBA degree. Prior to that, from 1981 to 1985, they pursued their BA degree in Economics and International Relations at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
