Rethread is an Australian circular marketplace making school uniforms more affordable and sustainable for families. We connect parents and carers so quality school uniforms and essentials can be bought and sold locally, giving items a second life instead of ending up in landfill.

Born out of lived experience, Rethread was created to ease the financial pressure school uniforms place on families while tackling the growing waste problem caused by fast fashion and short-lived school clothing. By making reuse simple, trusted, and accessible, we help families save money without compromising on quality.

Our platform empowers everyday parents to list and purchase pre-owned uniforms with confidence, supporting local communities and reducing environmental impact at the same time. Every transaction contributes to a more circular economy, where resources are reused, waste is reduced, and sustainability becomes part of everyday school life.

At Rethread, we believe small, practical changes can have a big impact. By rethinking how school uniforms are bought and sold, we’re working toward a future where affordability, community, and sustainability go hand in hand.
