David Stone

David Stone is the current CEO at RetireOne. Prior to this, they were VP and Assistant General Counsel at Charles Schwab Investment Management, Inc. from January 2000 to December 2009. In this role, they were responsible for all insurance/annuity product initiatives within Schwab’s three primary business groups - Retail Brokerage, Corporate and Retirement Services and Institutional. David was also a member of the Management Committee responsible for all insurance and annuity activities within the firm, including strategic planning and product development. From January 1987 to December 2000, they worked as Associate Counsel at Allstate Financial. In this role, they were the primary contact for all legal issues related to variable and fixed insurance products sold through affiliates and alliances with broker dealers, banks and fund families.

David Stone earned a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Northern Illinois University. David then went on to earn a Juris Doctor in Law from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law.
