Ping Lin

Data Engineer at RetiSpec

Ping Lin is a data engineer at RetiSpec. Ping previously worked as an undergraduate research assistant at Ryerson University, where they developed and implemented statistical design of experiments to optimize photocatalytic wastewater treatment processes by maximizing treatment efficiency. Ping also authored a comprehensive literature review and two professional publications in scientific journals focused in wastewater treatment and catalysis.

Before their work at Ryerson University, Ping Lin worked as a validation associate at China Chemical & Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd., where they conducted equipment performance qualifications (PQs) and environmental monitoring based on standard operation procedures (SOPs) in GMP Grades A, B, and C clean room environments in the new injection production line. Ping also conducted process validation and cleaning validation on injection production lines. Additionally, they conducted product quality assurance analyses through HPLC analysis of assay, content, and dissolution of pharmaceutical products and UV-VIS spectrophotometry in an analytical laboratory environment.

Ping Lin completed a Master of Applied Science in Chemical Engineering at Ryerson University. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering Co-op at Ryerson University.

They are on a team with Rozana Naureen - Clinical Research Coordinator, Anshul Verma - Data Scientist, and Jared Westreich - Data Scientist. Ping Lin reports to Alon Hazan, Head of Artificial Intelligence & R&D.
