Mikaela Risso

Mikaela Risso is an accomplished technical recruiter with extensive experience in hiring for design, product, and specialized technology roles. At Retool from June 2022 to October 2023, Mikaela held positions as a Technical Recruiter for Design, Product, and Specialized Tech, as well as the sole recruiter for the Design organization, successfully scaling the Brand organization from 0 to 15 members. Following this, Mikaela became the Founding Talent Partner at Column from October 2023 to December 2024, where responsibilities included owning the talent function end-to-end. Previously, Mikaela worked at Lyft from February 2020 to June 2022, handling full-cycle recruiting for engineering leadership and serving as the sole recruiter for the Lyft Business organization. Mikaela's career began at Aerotek, holding various strategic roles.
